In order to ensure the range of white chromaticity for general lighting with solid state lighting product can be communicated to customers, Prolight Opto’s 0.2~0.5W Crab Series Product will be taken the lead in adopting 8 SSL bin groups in accordance to ANSI C78.377 from 2010/3/1.

Referring to the diagram, Prolight Opto provides the 8 nominal CCT quadrangles (X0~M0) as per ANSI C78.377 standard which specifies the range of chromaticities for general SSL products and makes sure the chromaticities of the products can be communicated to consumers.
 
According to ANSI C78.377, general lighting of indoor based lighting application is suitable for this standard, not including outdoor based lighting application. Prolight’s Crab Series product launches this standard to solve the communication problem of chromaticities to customers.
